Displayed are some photographs of paintings, drawings and wooden things I make and a few photos of things being made.  The paintings displayed of woodland/moors/other spaces, I paint outside wherever I end up. Most often I’ll finish the painting in one go although sometimes I go back a second or third time.

The oil paints do fine outdoors in any weather. You will see other paintings I do that emerge differently and go straight down onto the paper/board 

Woodwork includes wood carvings/ carved wooden string puppets (marionettes)/ some furniture items. I enjoy making these wooden things with traditional hand-tools. The wood is often recycled/ sourced from felled/ tree damaged timber and is sustainably sourced.
