Jane Revitt

I specialise in creating artwork for particular events and places. Recently this involved designing and making costumes for GHOST TRAIN - 2 ambitious outdoor events commissioned to celebrate the bicentenary of the Stockton to Darlington Railway. The shows took place in both towns and were attended by 15,000 people.

Previous commissions include creating 3 sculptural Talking Chairs and their own gardens for a festival of gardens at Chester Zoo and SWOOP - a landscape artwork showing a murmeration of 500 giant starlings for a Yorkshire hilltop.

On a much smaller scale I’m currently working on illustrations for a children’s picture book and a series of prints and paintings.

Alongside these projects I make and sell a range of items for the home printed with contemporary and historic maps.
