My work combines the techniques of ceramics and painting  often multiple-firing pieces to achieve the desired effect. I work predominantly with paper or grogged clays which are fired to stoneware and combined with metals, glazes and Egyptian paste. My inspiration is derived from many sources often grounded in figurative or natural forms. Ultimately my work is defined by the process and the reaction of materials during firing, making each piece unique.

I also do freelance work with schools and community groups to produce interior and exterior relief panels and sculptures.
