MEDIEVAL ILLUMINATED LETTER WORKSHOP with Helen Hayman Saturday 24th June £60
Using 24-carat gold leaf and rich colours join our very own Calligrapher, Illuminator and Bookbinder, Helen Hayman, to create your own Medieval Illuminated Letter just like the ones you see in ancient books and manuscripts. You will finish the day with a beautiful letter to take home and frame.
No writing or drawing skills are needed with lots of examples to look at and explore

Our day and weekend workshops offer a more intensive learning experience and the chance to work with practicing artists who are passionate about sharing their knowledge.
Basic materials are included in the price – higher priced courses reflect higher materials costs, technical input, model fees and ceramics firings. There may be occasional small additional specialist materials charges. We normally need a minimum of 8 people for a course to run and courses may be cancelled if this is not achieved
