CLAY SCULPTURE FROM THE LIFE MODEL   with Sue Turner     Sat 10th February  £75

Another opportunity to take part in this unusual workshop - a rare chance to work in clay directly from the life

model. Start from drawing and then move to 3D interpretation.  

Challenging and fun!  



Sat 17th & Sun 18th February £120

A wondeerful opportunity to work with master narrative lino printmaker Ruth Fettis whose lino printing really pushes printmaking boundaries.   Design, cut and print a multi-colour print using the reduction process.  Suitable for those with some basic lino printing knowledge. Originally a three day course we have now condensed it into a weekend.


INTRODUCTION TO MOSAIC  with Laura Barnes   Sat 3rd March £60

A practical taster session that will introduce the potential of mosaic as an art form.

Learn the 4 basic cutting and laying techniques and make a small project in a day!

WILLOW SCULPTURE  - BIRDS   with Joevanka Gregory    Sun 11th March     £75

A day’s introduction to willow sculpturewith top willow artist Joevanka Gregory

Over the course of the day you'll learn basic basket weaving techniques and create your own willow bird sculpture


BOOKBINDING - MAKE A CASEBOUND BOOK   with Helen Hayman   Sat 17th March £60

A introduction to the world of Bookbinding.  Learn the techniques to make a simple case bound book (with a spine)  that would make an ideal small sketch book or album.  Helen will also show you different types of bookbinding that can be learned in future workshops


LEATHER CRAFTS - MAKE A LEATHER APRON  with Cathy Edwards  Sunday 18th March £75

Work with top Leather worker Cathy Edwards and create your own made to measure leather apron.  

Functional and practical, you will learn to cut, rivet, stamp, attach straps and studs to a variety of top quality leather.  This workshop is suitable for biginners


Day workshops run from 10.30am - 4.30pm



























































Day and Weekend Courses


Our day and weekend workshops offer a more intensive learning experience and the chance to work with practicing artists who are passionate about sharing their knowledge.

Basic materials are included in the price – higher priced courses reflect higher materials costs, technical input, model fees and ceramics firings. There may be occasional small additional specialist materials charges.  We normally need a minimum of 8 people for a course to run and courses may be cancelled if this is not achieved

Dates are subject to change - new courses may be added    Day workshops run from 10.30am - 4.30pm
